Former Argentine president detained ARGENTINA (July 11-AP) — Former junta leader Leopoldo Galtieri was arrested Thursday for allegedly (被指控) taking part in the abduction (诱拐), torture(拷问) and execution(杀戮) of 20 leftist guerrillas (左翼人士) and others during Argentina’s military government. S. Korea picks 1st female PM SEOUL (July 11-Reuters) — President Kim Dae-jung picked South Korea’s first female prime minister(总理) — Chang Sang, a Princeton-educated former university president, Thursday and named six new ministers in a reshuffle(改组) seen aimed at boosting(推进) the government’s image before December presidential polls(总统大选投票). Saddam’s stepson deported by U.S. NEW ZEALAND (July 10) — Saddam’s stepson arrived in New Zealand early Wednesday after being deported(驱逐) from the United States where he had tried to enroll (加入) in a flight school used by a Sept. 11 hijacker (劫机犯).
