Ai Song, who owns a design company, at the controls of  an ultra-light aircraft at a pilot school in Beijing yesterday. Ai will be among the first group of individuals to be granted private pilot licences if he passes all tests. China will reportedly open lower air space to private aircraft by the end of the year.
