Forgetful thief caught

　　AN absent-minded thief was caught off guard when he tried to sell a stolen motorcycle — to its owner.At about 6 a.m. Sunday, Chu, a migrant worker from Hubei Province in Central China, was riding his motorcycle in Yijing Road near the Shenzhen TV Station, Luohu District, when a man waved him down, the Shenzhen Economic Daily reported yesterday.When he stopped, the man pulled a knife and demanded Chu give him the motorcycle.Before Chu could react, the robber pushed him off and rode away on the motorcycle.With his motorcycle gone, Chu continued on his way home on foot.When he reached the Yanhe Road and Beidou Road intersection, a man rode up on a motorcycle and asked if Chu wanted to buy a motorcycle.Chu immediately recognized the hawker as the man who had robbed his motorcycle.Before the robber could pull his knife again, Chu picked up a brick and hit the robber on the head, disabling him.The thief was handed over to police for questioning.(Tan Yaoquan)
