Cloned firm loses case

　　A LOCAL company won a lawsuit against another which was set up by former employees recently, the Shenzhen Economic Daily reported yesterday.The accused, several key employees, were formerly employed by the Shenzhen Nanhong Electronics Porcelain Co. Ltd. at managerial level, including the company’s former deputy manager. They resigned at the beginning of last year, along with 23 other senior technicians and officials, and formed a new company, Shenzhen Maijie Micro-electronics Technology Co. Ltd., which allegedly manufactured the same products.Maijie admitted it had used the technology of Nanhong improperly and agreed to pay three million yuan (US$360,000) in compensation.(Rebecca Peng)
