Policemen and residents compete in a tug o' war at Bijiashan Hill yesterday, the second day of the city's first police cultural festival.More than 100,000 residents took part in the open-day activities, which included performances, displays of equipment and consultations, at the hill and the police district head offices yesterday.The eight-day cultural festival, which kicked off Saturday, is believed to be Shenzhen police's first major campaign aimed at promoting their image and public relations.
