NINE cartoon images representing Shenzhen police have been launched during the first Cultural Festival for Police.

　The nine images represent criminal police, patrol police, household registration police, special police, traffic police, firemen and armed police, the Shenzhen Economic Daily reported yesterday.

　The cartoon characters portray Shenzhen police as kind, enthusiastic and brave, the report said.

　The cartoon characters will be put up throughout the city to promote the image of Shenzhen police.

　Meanwhile, the Shenzhen Stamp-Collecting Company has launched 30,000 commemorative envelopes bearing the Shenzhen police cartoon characters as a congratulatory gift to the Police Cultural Festival.  (Hu Zheye)
