AN elderly man lost in Nanshan District Saturday is still missing, a local newspaper said yesterday.

　　The family of the missing man, Wang Genglin, has not given up hope of finding him and is continuing the search.

　　Wang’s second daughter told reporters the family was getting only three to four hours’ sleep each day, but they wouldn’t give up.

　　Ms. Wang said the family had received a lot of support from many people. She said the family was taking dozens of phone calls about her father each night and more people had joined in the search, including her father’s former students, Taoyuan villagers and her work unit which supplied vehicles and manpower.

　　She hoped public bus drivers would keep a lookout in case her father traveled on a bus.
