Election workers scramble to get poling machines up and
working at precinct 745 and 783 in Miami, Florida, Tuesday.
The new digital voting machines in Florida take up to an
hour and a half to come on line, and since the machines were
not turned on when the doors opened at 7 a.m., voters,
including Democratic Governor Candidate Janet Reno, had to
wait over an hour, and many were turned away since they had to
get to work . |
