I am very glad to say something about my trip in the
summer holidays. I went to Sydney with my teachers on July 6.
Sydney is the largest and oldest city in Australia and it is a
world- famous city. I stayed there for 22 days. It was my
first time living abroad.
During my time there, I learned a lot about Australia. I
learned some history, geography and local customs, and I
visited many famous places.
On the first weekend, I went to Canberra with my teachers
and friends. What an impressive city! Green grass, many
different kinds of trees and many colorful flowers. I couldn’t
believe it was the capital of Australia! It is just like a big
beautiful garden! I took many pictures there.
On the second weekend, we went to Blue Mountains. It’s
really a pretty place. I took the cable car to see the
scenery. How nice it was! It’s too beautiful to be true.
On the last Saturday, all of the students and teachers
went to Toronga Zoo together. I saw many lovely animals there,
like kangaroos, koalas and echidnas. I liked them very much!
And I visited many interesting places like: Sydney, the
Opera-House, the Harbour Bridge, Manly Beach, Sydney
University, Australia Museum, Parramatta and so on.
My homestay family was based in Manly. They were very
kind to me. I think Australians are very friendly, zealous and
humorous. My host mother took me to different shopping centers
every weekend. I bought many good things.
I really enjoyed my trip in Australia. However, the time
flew by. Now that I’m home, I miss my homestay family and
teachers in Australia. I think I will go back for another
visit.
