Keep eye contact
Do not start your conversation when the officer is
looking somewhere else. Always watch his or her eyes.
Smile
It’s very important. Smiling will make you look more
friendly and confident.
Do not be nervous
The officer will never show pity if you are nervous. They
will likely think that you are telling a lie.
Understand the questions
If you don’t understand the officer, politely ask him to
repeat the question. It is much better than answering a
question which you don’t understand.
Be personal
Greet the officer courteously.
Be confident
Answer the questions in a strong voice and make as few
mistakes as possible. Show them your good personality.
Be honest
This is the last but not least. If you tell a lie it will
go on your record and you may not ever be able to get a visa.
Tell the truth no matter how bad it sounds.
