A WOMAN was arrested Saturday at Guangzhou’s Baiyun
Airport for attempting to take narcotic drugs to Wuhan in
Central China.
The woman hovered suspiciously in front of the checking
counter for quite some time before she asked an airport worker
to check her luggage. The X-ray examination found suspicious
packages in the woman’s luggage. They were two moon cake boxes
wrapped tightly in adhesive tape.
Opening them, security workers found 2,037 grams of
phenylpropylamine and 21 ecstasies.
The woman was alleged to have confessed to taking the
luggage for her boyfriend without knowing the contents.
