MOST air tickets in China during the one-week National Day
holidays have been booked out, the State holiday affairs
office has announced.
Train tickets for some routes, most of them tourist
destinations, have also been snapped up, the office said at
the weekend.
Tourist experts in Shenzhen advise local tourists to
leave the city on Oct. 3 to 4 and return Oct. 8 and 9 because
air tickets in these days are more easily available than those
in the rest of the holidays.
The CAAC has issued instructions that each air passenger
be allowed to carry only one piece of luggage to prevent long
queues at airports.
Most tourist spots, hotels and restaurants had undergone
safety checks, the office said. (SD News)
