A TOTAL of HK$200 million will be spent dredging the Shenzhen River between Luohu Checkpoint and Wenjindu Checkpoint.The work is the subject of an agreement signed between the Shenzhen and Hong Kong sides yesterday.The project is the second section of the third phase of the Shenzhen River treatment which is designed to improve the water quality and river flow.Work on the 1.8 km-long river section will start July 26 and be finished in 30 months.
