  Food poisoning strikes 68 URUMQI: Food poisoning struck down 68 laborers on a construction site in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Tuesday.They were taken to hospital for treatment and were later reported in stable conditions. Experts are investigating the cause of the outbreak.Dengue plagues TaiwanTAIBEI: Taiwan is battling a major outbreak of the mosquito-borne dengue fever. Health authorities say the disease has affected people in 10 cities and counties and nearly 900 cases have so far been reported. The outbreak is concentrated in southern Taiwan and health experts warn more than 1,000 people are likely to be affected each week. The outbreak is believed to be the most serious in Taiwan’s history.University honors Nobel laureatesQINGDAO: Nobel Prize winners John Nash and Ryinhard Selten and 11 other leading authorities in the Game Theory were made honorary professors of Qingdao University Tuesday in Shandong Province.Nash and Selten won Nobel Prize in 1994.
