THE fourth annual China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) consists of
four parts. The transfer of technological achievements, the
exhibition of new hi-tech products, a hi-tech forum and a
"never-closing" transfer. The "never-closing" transfer
includes Internet exhibitions and transactions, hi-tech
project matching and negotiation services, hi-tech project
popularization, and other follow-up services.
The transfer of technological achievements is the core
part of the fair. It will be carried out in five exhibition
areas, including the domestic governmental delegations area,
the overseas governmental delegations area, the area for
colleges and universities, the area for CHTF hosts, the area
for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the overseas Chinese
students.
The exhibitions of new hi-tech products are the best
platform for domestic and overseas enterprises to show off
their special products and seek partners. CHTF has established
four specialized exhibitions including IT, biotech, new
material and energy and environmental protection, and
agritech.
The China Hi-Tech Fair invites Nobel Prize laureates,
domestic and foreign government senior officials, scientists,
economists, and entrepreneurs to lecture on hot-spot issues
and to showcase the latest hi-tech developments around the
world. This year's forum focuses on the two themes of "hi-tech
and economic development" and "future information
technology".
