Happy Hour arrive at SZ

AFTER over half a year spent in choosing the leading actress, 45 days in shooting the film and another month in pilot show, Happy Hour finally made its debut to local fans on Saturday night in four theatres simultaneously.
In the afternoon, 70 minutes were allowed to the press to probe into the mysterious Happy Hour shooting staff in Jingdu Hotel opposite the SZ Grand Theatre.
“Happiness is a personal experience, but one thing is for sure,” Director Zhang Yimou spoke when posed with a question about the name of the film, “when you have a dream, you are in happiness.” The film actually accounts a sad story, in which a blind girl lived for a short period of “happy hour” sheltered behind the white lie of a kind but insignificant man in retirement.
Leading actress, Dong Jie, told the press that the happiest moment for her was when learning the news that she got chosen among thousands of applicants for the role. “It’s a rare chance for me,” she said in modest, “and my biggest hope now is that the audience likes that role I played in the film.”
Also, to welcome the New Year, other films including "Family Tie", "Miss Congeniality" will be on soon in Shenzhen.
