Who on top 10 list

AS we bid adieu to another year, a decade, and a century, executives and economists across the country have plenty of reasons to uncork the bubbly.
At the end of 2000, much of the country's economy remained robust, stock markets saw the most bullish year, and "e" and "dot com" have become industries unto themselves. Yet leaving the booming economy aside, there's a group of economists who deserve to raise their champagne flutes a bit higher than others. Some stood out by making smart managing decisions, and others were more patient, relentlessly pursuing a crucial deal.
To choose the year's top 10 economists, CCTV Economy 30' programme surveyed a staff of judges consisting of 100 economists and 50 professional financial journalists, and 1.2 million netizens. On the evening of January 1, 2001, a solid group of winners were glittering at the gala of the economic field. They are, alphabetically:
Liang Dingbang Consultant, China Securities Regulatory Commission
Liu Chuanzhi Chairman, Legend Group
Peng Zuoyi General Manager Tsingtao Brewery Group
Qiu Bojun Chairman Kingsoftware Group
Tian Shuoning CEO China Netcom
Wang Shi Chairman Wanke Group
Wu Jinglian Researcher, Development Research Centre of the State Council of PRC
Zhang Hongwei President Orient Group
Zhang Ruimin CEO Haier Group
Zhou Houjian President HiSense Group
