ACE VENTURA, Pet Detective, brings out the kid in all of us. It just makes you laugh and makes you a little more aware of how to lighten up your day. The movie is a great stress reliever.
Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) is a pet detective who has a love for animals. He will do anything to find animals that are lost. He, of course, gets paid for this and he is not very rich.
It seems like the cases that he has are for rare animals that are hard to find.
In the beginning, he is looking for a bird and is trying to catch it. Now you can see why he isn't very rich. He often has trouble paying the rent because he spends his money on pet food. He has a house full of pets.
In this movie, his main goal is to find a dolphin. This dolphin is a main part of a half-time show and is needed to perform. Ace has his own way about finding animals.
Ace comes through and the game was a success. The dolphin was brought back and Ace found who had stolen it. Everyone gets a surprise as to who had the dolphin. When he found the dolphin, the quarterback was there. It was a long process he had to go through to figure out where they were.
Just like in real life, there are many different obstacles that we have to go through. This movie is practical in the way that there are obstacles in life, but there are a few times where it isn't real likely to happen in real life. This is what makes the movie. It ties all together and makes the movie great. Laugh and let some stress go. The movie is great. There aren't a lot of movies that will make you laugh this much.
