Circular forbids lucks money
|
THE SZ Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC issued an official circular last week forbidding all functionaries to accept "lucky money", cash or equivalent wrapped in red bags as New Year gifts, during the Spring Festival season.
The circular says no functionary shall accept "lucky money" that may hinder execution of public duties. Functionaries shall submit all lucky money that they are unable to refuse to the higher authorities.
Discipline inspection authorities will punish those who violate the rule, according to the circular.
