Latest album: A Day Without Rain
Hailing (赢得名声，得到认可) from Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland, Enya grew up as part of a large and musical family. Eventually, she joined the group Clannad, which was originally founded by members of her family. In 1982, she left Clannad to pursue her own projects.
Collaborating with producer Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan, Enya found her first success providing music for BBC-TV. Then she followed it up with the hit album Watermark. Since then, Enya has continued to make music that has won millions of fans all over the world. On the album A Day Without Rain, Enya presents more of the soothing melodies and rhythms that have made her famous.
