Godfather becomes father at 60
|
AL PACINO was celebrating on Saturday night after becoming a father to twins at the age of 60.
The Oscar-winner's actress girlfriend Beverly D'Angelo, 46, gave birth to a boy and girl.
The twins are the first children for D'Angelo who has been together with Pacino for the past few years.
Pacino, who won an Oscar for playing a blind man with a zest for life in 1992's ``Scent of a Woman'' but is best known for his Mafia turn in the ``Godfather'' movies, has a daughter Julie, from a previous relationship.
D'Angelo, a former rock singer who made her film debut in a bit part in Woody Allen's 1977 ``Annie Hall'', is also known for her role as country songstress Patsy Cline in the 1980 Loretta Lynn film biography ``Coal Miner's Daughter''.
