Record insurance policy sold

SZ Ping'an Life Insurance Company undertook a 19.98 million yuan (US$2.4 million ) life insurance case, by far the largest in the history of the country's life insurance industry.
The insured party, whose identity has not been disclosed, chose an investment-related insurance policy, plus accidental injury and death, and accidental medical treatment. He will have to pay a whopping 880,000 yuan annually for 15 years.
An entrepreneur in his 20s, the young policy-holder got involved in business after graduation, and had been intending to apply for such insurance for quite some time.
The insurer, though reluctant at first to provide the spectacularly expensive policy, eventually agreed after careful and thorough examination.(SD News)
