J (Jenny): David! It's time to wake up!
(詹妮) 戴维！该起床了！
D (David): What time is it?
(戴维) 现在几点钟了？
J: The alarm went off 15 minutes ago. It's 7.00 already.
闹钟十五分钟前就响了，现在已经七点钟了。
D: No, that's impossible -- the clock must be fast. It's still dark out.
不可能--闹钟一定走快了。外面还是很黑的。
J: That's not the sky -- it's the shutters. Remember? It was cold last night, so I closed them.
不是天黑，是百叶窗。记得吗？昨天晚上天气太冷，所以我把它放下来了。
D: Oh, yeah. It's cold now, too. I'm so sleepy. I don't want to get up.
啊，对了。哇，现在也很冷。我太瞌睡了，我不想起床。
J: Well, why don't you take a nice, hot shower? In the meantime, I'll make some coffee -- it'll wake you up.
去好好冲个热水澡吧！我来煮些咖啡，包你喝下去睡意全消。
D: Oh, I shouldn't have stayed up so late last night.
哦，我昨晚不应该那么晚才睡。
(A few minutes later)
(几分钟后)
D (From the bathroom) Ouch!
(从浴室里) 哎呀！
J: What's wrong?
怎么搞的？
D: I got soap in my eyes! Ouch!
肥皂水跑进眼睛里去了！哎呀！
J: What is it now?
又怎么了？
D: I turned the wrong knob because I had soap in my eyes. I wanted hot water, but now it's cold.
我眼睛里有肥皂水，所以我转错了水龙头。我想要热一点的水，但现在全是冷水了。
J: Well -- at least you're wide awake now.
好了--至少你现在彻底清醒了。
