A COMPUTER mouse that can be clicked with feet, invented by Ma Qicheng of Shenzhen Experimental School, has been chosen to be one of the 15 entries for the 52th Intel International Science and Engineering Competition (IISEC), to be held this May in the US.
This is said to be the first time the competition has included an entry from Guangdong Province.
IISEC is an annual worldwide science Olympiad for middle school students. It covers six subjects including maths, physics, chemistry and computers.
Ma's mouse won first prize at the 10th China Adolescent Science and Technology Invention Contest and the Intel Adolescent Talent Award last year, a truly impressive feat.
He was named one of China's hundred young academicians.
