Levy takes 2nd slice of 'Pie'
|
HOT off a Golden Globe nomination for co-writing the dog show satire ``Best in Show'', Eugene Levy is turning again to acting: He has scored his biggest payday to date, inking a nearly seven-figure deal to star in Universal's ''American Pie II''.
Levy, the comedic double-threat who also co-starred in WB's ''Show'', will again play the father of Jim, the pastry-loving adolescent first introduced in ``American Pie''.
Levy next stars opposite Chris Rock in Paramount's ``Down to Earth'', which opens on February 16, and will also appear in the Miramax picture ``Serendipity'' opposite John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale.(SD-Agencies)
