United rally to tie Chelsea

MANCHESTER UNITED were held 1-1 at Chelsea on Saturday, having their massive lead cut to 13 points as Arsenal edged Ipswich 1-0 at Highbury.
After Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink had punished a blunder by Paul Scholes to give Chelsea the lead at Stamford Bridge, Andy Cole levelled for Alex Ferguson's side.
"That was a good performance by us and they were all sharp today," said Ferguson.
"I think we ran them ragged in the second half, and the three at the back were stretched all the time to clear and defend. We might even have nicked it.
"But I'm satisfied because we were a goal down away from home and we came back."
Ferguson said his France international goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, who missed the game with an injury picked up in training, is likely to be back for the vital Champions League trip to Spanish outfit Valencia on Wednesday.
With 13 games left to play, Ferguson's side have 63 points, with Arsenal, for whom Frenchman Thierry Henry scored a second-half winner, on 50 points.
Liverpool remain third on 45 points after a disputed Finnish forward Jari Litmanen penalty gave them a 1-1 draw at fourth-placed Sunderland.
The Ipswich defeat at Highbury allowed Leeds to move up to fifth despite being held 0-0 at home by relegation-threatened Derby.
A late winner by Ukrainian striker Serhiy Rebrov was Tottenham's first goal after four 0-0 ties and gave George Graham's team a 1-0win over Manchester City.
Last place Bradford lost 2-0 at Southampton and haven't scored for six games. With only 16 points and 11 away from the safety zone, Jim Jeffries' side look doomed.
Third from last Middlesbrough made it 12 games unbeaten under Terry Venables after a 1-1 tie at Aston Villa. Steve Stone headed Villa ahead but Ugo Ehiogu levelled for Middlesbrough against his old club and Middlesbrough now are four points above from the drop zone.
Everton stayed above the relegation area by beating Leicester 2-1 with Francis Jeffers scoring on his first appearance since September. (SD-Agencies)
