'Halloween 8' to shoot in Vancouver

"HALLOWEEN", the scare-movie franchise that, like the movie's antagonist Michael Myers, refuses to die, is about to add another chapter.
The fan site www.halloween.com reports that production on "Halloween 8" is scheduled to begin next month in Vancouver, with Jamie Lee Curtis contractually obligated to make at least a cameo.
No other casting details have yet been reported and no plot details have yet been revealed (although something tells us the story will include a bunch of people dying hideous, shocking deaths).
Whitney Ransick, who has worked on "E.R." and "Shock Television", is set to direct.
The screenplay is by Larry Brand, whose resume includes the 1989 version of "The Masque Of The Red Death".
