Adobe Acrobat Reader
|
Adobe Acrobat Reader, currently in version 4.05, allows users to view, navigate and otherwise work with Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The PDF file format is created via Adobe Acrobat, a powerful desktop standard that uses a scanner and OCR technology to convert any colour or black-and-white document--regardless of the application it was created in--to the PDF format. Using the Reader, PDF files can be viewed, zoomed, printed, and paged through using the built-in toolbar. Adobe Acrobat and the client Reader are a simple solution for making business documents of varying origin available to users of all platforms, over the Internet/intranet, on CD-ROM, or e-mail.
If you're not already using Adobe Acrobat Reader, you've likely already missed out on a lot of rich Web content.
