Princess of cool hits the slopes
|
From The Times Feb 19
Princess Beatrice looked set to follow the teenage trends of her style-conscious cousins William and Zara yesterday as she posed with her family at Verbier in the Swiss Alps.
Showing no awkwardness in front of the cameras, the 12-year-old Princess smiled to flash the braces that have become almost a fashion accessory these days. She completed the contemporary look with wrap-around sunglasses and a bandana from the Teenage Cancer Trust, of which her mother is a patron.
The Duke of York, who is 41 today, and his former wife said the family were celebrating the fact that Princess Eugenie, 10, had passed the entrance examination for St George's, a mixed prep school in Windsor. She will be there until she is 13, receiving what her father described as “precisely the right education”.
