To support the development of local high-tech industries, SZ Customs Office simplified procedures to guarantee smooth customs declaration for high-tech products.
Procedures will also be simplified for the manufacturing trade.

Procedures for foreign investment projects -- registration, contract censoring and licenses -- will be finished within 12 days.
An overseas investor who intends to invest US$10 million to US$30 million in the city should get his licence within six working days. Procedures for projects with investments over US$30 million can be completed even more quickly.

The average approval time for different procedures will be shortened from the original 18.2 working days to five days.
The granting of import and export rights to local enterprises will be finished in five working days against the previous 25 days. The application for overseas enterprises to set up representative offices here in the city can be verified in five working days.
