J (John): What a long day! I'm worn out. It'll be great to get home and have a nice, relaxing evening with Alice and the kids. Hi, everyone!
(约翰) 好漫长的一天啊！我累死了。回到家和艾丽丝及孩子们过一个美好而舒适的晚上该是多么的快乐啊。嗨，你们好！
S (Son): No! Don't change the channel!
(儿子) 不要换频道！
D (Daughter): But I want to see this show!

S: But I turned on TV first! Cut it out, stupid!

A (Alice): (to John) Hi, honey. How was your day? (to kids) You two, stop that right now!
(艾丽丝) (对约翰) 啊，亲爱的，今天工作如何？(对孩子们) 你们俩，别吵了！
J: These days the kids are always watching TV when I get home from work.

A: Of course. That's when the cartoons are on.

J : (to kids) How about letting Daddy relax and watch the news for a while?

S: Okay! Dad!

A: But I got the bath ready for you, dear.

J: Great! Soaking in the bath really relaxes me.

(John takes a bath and returns to the living room)

A: The kids are doing their homework. Why don't we have a beer before dinner?
