Exhibitions
Shenzhen Second Exhibition of Rare Stones is being held at Guan Shanyue Art Gallery (关山月美术馆) till Sunday. Over 300 pieces of stones of grotesque shapes are on display.
The artistic achievement of great artist Guan Shanyue is displayed at Guan Shanyue Art Gallery from March to May.

Performance
Tonight the Music Hall of Shenzhen Grand Theatre will overflow with the sound of zheng and pipa, which are both plucked string instruments of Chinese characteristics. Fan Ran and Luan Yue, two excellent girl students from Central Conservatory of Music and winners of many music awards, will give a performance of Chinese classics.

Fashion
The First Guangzhou International Fashion Festival (广州国际服装节) is being held at the Exhibition Hall of the China Export Commodity Trade Fair till Sunday. Enterprises from dozens of countries display a variety of products including garment, shoes, ornament and garment processing equipment.
A. Best (新一佳) sponsors a one-month fashion festival from March 8 to April 8. Fashion shows, free beauty lectures and a large number of discounts will be offered to customers.
TV
Lu Buwei, Hero of the Warring States (战国英雄吕不韦) is telecast at 20.30pm on the first channel of SZTV from March 6. Directed by famous director Zhou Xiaowen and starring Zhang Tielin and Ning Jing, the serial is forecast to be the most appealing homemade serial of ancient subject in 2001.
Blue Concubine (蓝色妖姬), starring Wang Siyi and Song Jia, is telecast at 22.20pm on the second channel of SZTV from March 5.
Beijing Love Sotry (北京爱情故事), starring widely acclaimed actress Xu Jinglei, is telecast at 22.00pm on SZCATV from March 6.
Film
Gladiator, an Oscar nominee, is being exclusively screened at the Digital Cinema of the Sun Plaza (太阳广场数码电影城).
Because of Love, a film reflecting the life of Shenzhen dwellers, will be screened tomorrow in local cinemas.
Cafe
McCafe (麦咖啡), the first of its kind in the city, opened to the public recently on Jiefang Road.
