Top-notch films released
|
FIVE Western films, all winners or nominees of Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards and film prizes, are being released simultaneously at the Nanguo Cinema from March 9 to 31, breaking the old practice of only screening one big film at a time.
The cinema is offering a special package ticket, at 100 yuan each, for all five films.
The films include the Italian film Life Is Beautiful, which won the best director (Roberto Benigni) and the best foreign language film Oscars the year before last; Meryl Streep's Music of the Heart, which won the best actress Golden Globe Award, Sharon Stone's The Mute, and two other films.(Windy Shao)
