Movie-goers cast votes
|
AUDIENCE-hungry Tianying cinema in Shenzhen are offering movie-goers a new way to enjoy films: choosing which ones they want to see.
The voting system, introduced last week, works like this: audience members fill out a form listing which films they want to see and at which times. The votes are tallied, and if at least 15 people vote the same way, their choice of film and screening time wins.
It is reported that so far many fans, apparently preferring highbrow productions, have cast ballots for Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing and Twelfth Night.(Alfred Zhang)
