Based in Los Angeles, the band Crazy Town is made up of Shifty Shellshock (vocals), Epic Mazur (vocals), Rust Epique (guitar), Trouble Valli (guitar), Faydoedeelay (bass), DJAM (turntables) and JBJ (drums). The band was originally founded by Shifty and Epic, who had both worked on a variety of musical projects.
Shifty says, "I grew up listening to rap (说唱乐) and punk rock (朋克摇滚乐，一种音乐节奏强烈，演出风格夸张的摇滚音乐). We wanted to paint a picture of what's going on with kids today. I wanted to incorporate rap and rock like it had never been done before. No matter what kind of music you liked, I wanted you to enjoy something about it."
