(小偷哈里和麦夫开着面包车在路上行驶，差点和刚刚买完牙刷的凯文撞上。面包车停了下来。)
Harry: Hey, you got to watch out for the traffic.
哈里: 嘿，你得注意一下交通安全。
Kevin:Sorry.
凯文: 对不起。
Marv:Santa don't visit the funeral homes, little buddy.
麦夫: 圣诞老人可不会光顾墓地，小朋友。
Harry:Okay, okay. Merry Christmas.
哈里: 好了，好了。圣诞快乐。
(哈里笑的时候露出了他的金牙，凯文认出他是那天晚上假扮警察闯入他家地下室的人,立即转身就走。)
Marv:What's the matter?
麦夫:怎么回事?
Harry:I don't like the way that kid looked at me. You see that?
哈里: 我不喜欢那个孩子看我的那个样子。你看见了吗?
Marv:Ever see him before?
麦夫: 你以前见过他吗?
Harry:I saw a hundred kids this week.
哈里: 这个礼拜我见过一百多个孩子。
Marv:Let's see what house he goes into.

(凯文躲开麦夫和哈利，回到家。)
Kevin: When those guys come back, I'll be ready for them.

(晚上，当麦夫和哈利来到凯文家门前，看到屋里灯光明亮，人影闪烁。)
Marv: Did they come back?
麦夫: 难道他们回来了？
Harry: Paris?
哈利: 从巴黎?
(实际上他们看到的是凯文拿着木偶人在表演。)
Harry: We'll come back tomorrow. We better get out of here before someone sees us.
哈利: 我们明天再来。最好在没人看到我们之前离开这里。
(凯文从窗户里看着两个小偷离开，得意地笑了，他又一次保护了自己的家园。)
(第二天，送比萨饼的小伙子来到凯文家门前，这时凯文正在放映一个警匪片。)

Video: $11.80 for pizza.
录影带: 比萨饼11.8美元。
(凯文将12美元从大门下的门洞里递出去。)

Pizza boy: Cheapskate.

Video: I'm going to give you to the count of 10 to get off my property, then I'll pump your guts full of lead. one, two ... ten.

(录影带里传来开枪的声音，卖比萨饼的小伙子吓得转身就跑。这时凯文打开门，拿起比萨饼。)
Kevin: A lovely cheese pizza, just for me.
