Clones win fans
THREE cloned sheep have become the stars of the Shanghai Animal Festival, which opened on Saturday.
The three sheep, born in 1994 and 1995, were produced by biologist Zhang Yong in Northwest Agriculture and Forestry Science University from a single cell.
The sheep have drawn a lot of visitors, most of them children, who cannot tell the sheep from others.
It is believed to be the first time China has exhibited cloned animals to the public.
