DJ Clue grew up in Queens, New York, and he started out as an MC (Master of Ceremonies) before he got behind the turntables (唱盘) and learned the DJ skills he uses today. Over the past few years he's put out numerous tapes and hosted his own show, contributing to his reputation as a tastemaker (时髦风尚的首创者) in the world of hip-hop.
His album DJ Clue Presents: Backstage -- Mixtape features guests like Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel, Redman, Hot Boys, OutKast, Amil, Eve, Da Brat, Memphis Bleek, The Lox and others. This album puts mainstream R&B and hip-hop tracks together just like a puzzle.
