EU's largest B2B arrives

Han Ximin
A NEW website, www.ComfirmAsia.com, officially went online in SZ yesterday.
The website was co-sponsored by Comfirm.com AB, the largest trade enabling network in European Union with nearly 100,000 registered enterprises, and Asian Information Resources Holdings Ltd, Hong Kong.
A localized European platform which offers business matching, marketing and value-added services, ComfirmAsia is the most advanced meeting place for small- and medium-sized companies in China.
Stephan Lambert, executive president of Comfirm.com AB, said at the launching ceremony yesterday that China is a natural choice for the company's expansion due to its growing trade with the EU.
"The B2B transactions and turnover between the two parties will continue to grow in the next three years with China's entry into the WTO," said Lambert. Guangdong Province, particularly Shenzhen, is the perfect place for developing e-commerce, as its import and export volumes have been ranked first in China for years and have the largest number of small- and medium-sized enterprises, he added.
