Height treatment a vogue
|
SINGAPORE teenagers desperate to become taller are turning to beauticians for help, according to the Sunday Times.
More than two-thirds of customers who want to gain an extra inch are under 20, two beauty centres told the paper.
One such teenager, 19-year-old Roland Lim, said he had spent 4,800 Singapore dollars (US$2,666) in his quest to gain height. He said he had grown four centimetres in the last three years.
Treatments include passing an electrical current through specific points on the body and taking vitamin supplements, the paper said.
