Digital logistics chain developed

SHENZHEN Dichain Systems Co Ltd unveiled its new digital logistics solution based on the latest computing, communication and electronic technologies, in Shenzhen yesterday.
This is the first nationwide logistics management system in China that offers real-time tracking, logistics plans and road information.
According to Dichain engineers, the system is made up of many functional modules including cargo tracking, trading, corporate supply chains and electronic logistics service. The integrated information management system allows customers to choose to transport their cargo as efficiently as possible.
The system is based on an integrated platform that provides connection to computers through the Internet and mobile devices through satellites. With a huge and efficiently managed database, customers can access almost all relevant information about vehicles they employ, routes taken and even road information in a specific area. Through the GSM system, the customer can even send short messages to drivers.
On top of that, the system allows the customer to digitize their supply chain management, according to Dichain engineers.
