Inspections eased
|
CARS passing through the Huanggang Checkpoint will no longer face mandatory checks by the Huanggang Quarantine and Inspection Bureau, the bureau said.
Instead, random checks of passing cars will be carried, according to the bureau.
However, people transporting animals, plants and other goods covered by quarantine laws are required to use the special passageway at the checkpoint to have their goods inspected.
The new approach is expected to save time for drivers and thus ease chronic traffic woes.(Mu Zi)
