Brain tank forum to be held

A HIGH-PROFILE economic forum scheduled to be held in Shenzhen this summer has attracted an impressive list of speakers, including Claude Smadja, managing director of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Joseph E Stiglitz, former vice-president and chief economist of the World Bank, Jack Boorman, director of Policy and Review Development of the IMF.
The International Think Tank Forum will be hosted by the China Development Institute (Shenzhen), a non-profit institution devoted to economic research and consulting. With “New Economy and Asia" as its theme, the forum is designed to bring top economists, senior experts from famous think tanks worldwide, academicians, government officials, executives of large enterprises and companies and media commentators together to discuss problems Asia will confront in the 21st century.
The forum will be held on June 15 and 16 at the Wuzhou Guesthouse.
