New ship to Haikou
|
THE fully-packed Wutongshan Ferry, the most luxurious passenger ship on the line between SZ and Haikou, departed on its maiden voyage from Shekou to Haikou, capital of the island province of Hainan, on May 1.
The liner, with a full capacity of 366 passengers and 50 lorries, departs Shekou every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and returns in the afternoons. It is a large and well-equipped vessel.
For its first voyage is on May Day, the starting of the golden week for tourism, the tickets were in a great demand and therefore sold out long ahead of time.
