Mir cosmonauts visit SZ

AT the invitation of Minsk World, two Russian cosmonauts, both of whom have worked aboard the recently-deorbited Mir Space Station, are in Shenzhen for the May Day holidays.
They brought over 100 presents from the space station including their medals, souvenir badges and daily use articles in space. They are attending a special exhibition entitled Eternal Mir Space Station, and treating visitors to stories of their experiences in outer space.
Vinogradov, one of the cosmonauts, arrived on Mir in August 1997 and stayed in orbit for just under 200 days. He, together with other crew members, undertook seven internal and external spacewalks to repair the crippled space station.
