Ricky Martin to play ``Zorro'' in London

LATINO pop sensation Ricky Martin is set to hip-swivel onto London's West End stage in a musical version of ``Zorro'', Britain's top-selling Sun tabloid reported recently.
Martin was in final talks with theatre producers over plans to take on the lead role in the tale of the legendary Mexican swordsman, the paper said.
It said producer Adam Kenwright, who was behind the hit play ``Stones In His Pockets'' and the Argentinean circus show ``De La Guarda'', had called Martin's aides over the role.
``Ricky is already one of the biggest Latin icons in the world and has the look and the attitude to play Zorro,'' a source close to Kenwright was quoted as saying.(SD-Agencies)
