Give watches a name of beauty

MORE and more youths today do not wear a watch. It is a redundancy, they say, with time precisely given on your mobile phone, computer notebook and a clock in the car. But you do have reason to wear a watch this summer, for beauty's sake.
Dial plate made of the shiny inner side of shells, watchband of porcelain, watches this year appear both elegant and comfortable. Artificial or genuine stones embedded on the plate and strap are no longer the patent design for ladies, and large-plate sport-style watches can give a look of youth and energy on the slim wrist of a girl.
To go with the trend in garments and shoes, cute and delicate designs that fully embody the female loveliness are no doubt the featured theme. Snow, cartoon and flower patterns are printed on the plate and strap, which mainly take the pink, orange and azure colour. Transparency is cleverly used so that in some watches you can even see the gears moving behind the tickling pointers. The pointers, of course, have elegant curves and detailed modifications such as a star at the end.
Like the mobile phone, watches can change outfit to give you pleasant surprises now. I have seen a set of four different colour and pattern straps going with a watch at a local exhibition lately. Quite easily, you can DIY (do it yourself) a different design to go with your mood everyday.
Besides the traditional bracelet design of past years, a string of crystal connected by complicated Chinese knots is widely used for strap this year. Not only does it look pretty, the crystal really feels good in the hot summer. Another design has the strap winding twice around your wrist, a green shiny material set on the silver background of the strap.
With a nylon and jean strap, sport-use watches are not much different from last year except that they take on a more colourful and neutral look. Some of them try to adopt transparent designs as well.
If you still don't feel like being restricted by a hand watch, a chain watch hidden in your pocket will be a good choice. The beetle design is classical and still in for the cover of a chain watch; engraved patterns and embedded stones cater better to the taste of ladies. Then, with a short chain and ring, you can place the watch in your key bag!
