Airport hit by lightning
|
LIGHTNING struck the boarding bridge connected to a passenger jet at SZ Huangtian International Airport at on Wednesday, scorching part of the fuselage black.
Two staffers on a truck beside the plane were thrown on to the ground, but fortunately escaped death.
The plane had just landed at the airport from Beijing. All the passengers had disembarked, leaving only a few cargo handlers behind when the lightning struck at around 3pm.
The injured people were rushed to hospital as a precautionary measure, and have already been released.(Mu Zi)
