HKUST enrols SZ graduates
|
HONG KONG University of Science and Technology (HKUST) will enrol 18 self-funded graduates from local senior high schools this year.
HKUST registered nine students from SZ Middle School, SZ Experimental School and SZ Senior High School last year, who major in computer, business administration and electronics.
The university said it increased the planned enrolment figure this year due to the success of last year's efforts.
Students graduating from high schools this year and with registered permanent residence in the city are eligible to apply. The deadline for application is this Friday, while the entrance examination will be held on May 20.
It is reported that the yearly cost for each self-funded student in HKUST is about HK$90,000.(Mu Zi)
