TO provide students with more extracurricular activities to fill in the space left by the burden relief policy, a community education programme known as PAS (place, alive, space) is gradually being introduced at Honghu Primary School.
According to Lai Dingyi, principal of the school, the PAS programme is designed to integrate the resources within a community and provide kids with more vivid learning materials.
Presently, the activities include lectures co-sponsored by local police station, gardening and photography in Honghu Park, sports co-arranged with the community management committee, and all kinds of art and literature promoting activities assisted by prominent members of the community.
